About Me

My name is Jennifer Kay Rankin-Johnson. I'm a daughter, a sister, a niece, a aunt, a veteran, and a former Army wife. Along with being a blogger, writer, gamer, designer, artist, watcher, reader, and listener. I am also a Graphic Design student working on my AS at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (Online Division). I love many things about my life, my family, my pets, and my husband are just a few of them. But if they were taken out of the equation my true loves would movies, music, books, and games, along with my growing love for anime and manga.

I was born and raised in Texas, with my mother and father and my four sisters, where I am the second oldest. I went from South Carolina to Georgia to North Carolina when I joined the Army after high school in 2004, where my military career was short lived when I was honorably discharged for medical reason in 2006. While in Georgia I met and married my AIT sweetheart on April 1, 2005. Everyone claimed it wouldn't last or thought it was a joke because of April Fool's Day, but now we have our first baby girl due April 6th, 2014, three cats (Tiger, Marceline, and Bucky) and three dogs (Lil'Bit, Bird, and JoJo).
