Missing Tiger

So it's been over a month since Sean let Tiger out and hasn't returned. We have been calling shelters and vets but noone has seen him. We've walked the neighborhood looking for him and calling his name but not even a clue as to where he would be. We put posters up and set food out to wake up to it being gone but no Tiger.

Tiger joined our little family at Christmas in 2005, Sean came home with two cats as our first Christmas presents to each other. Tiger was mine and his brother, Mouse, was Sean's. They were the best gifts each of us could ask for, and always will be. Mouse was a black tabby, that you could barely make out the stripes on his back. My Tiger was a orange tabby that stripes went up in to a lepard pattern on his back, the tip of his tail was broken before we got him but he didn't seem to care about it.

Two years ago around Christmas Mouse and Tiger left the house together like the normally do, but this time instead of comeing back after a day or two Tiger came home after a week and a half and Mouse never did. We spent months hopeing and pray he would come home, it took Sean a while to come to the fact that he wasn't comeing home this time. A hole was put into our little family the day he left but was filled a year later when Sean brought home this little black and white kitten that could fit in the palm of your hand. Tiger didn't know what to do with her, since she was so small and she was  female.

Now two years after the dissapeareness of his brother, Tiger dissappears, and just like Sean I'm not giving up just yet. I'll keep putting food out and checking the porch every day. I'll call for him everytime I go outside, and I'll light my candle and pray for him every night.

Hope In The New Year

So it’s been a while since my last post. Things have been either busy or nothing is really going on. As most know Sean is home and he got back at the end of November, so there has been some adjusting to get use too.

Let see what first. I did all my Christmas shopping right after Thanksgiving and got them shipped, well all but the in-laws. I thought we would visit them on Christmas, but Sean set up a video chat up the guys down range and the families back here. That was a bust, only one family showed, which was really sad but worth it at the same time. Only had one gift go missing in the mail, which was a drawing I was working on of my sister and her daughter, Ally.

The new raid patch hit wow a while back and I officially switched from Jaylyne (the hunter) to Raylyne (the rogue). A lot of debate when around about the daggers and in the end me and the pally that switched to his rogue right before me were decided to get them first, since we run two ten mans a week instead of 25 mans. Since we started having an issue with numbers but we’ve only lost 2-3 people. Oh and the lock we gave our legendary staff too left 2 days later without saying a word.

I’m still looking for a job, haven’t had any call backs yet, and the little 5 dollar things aren’t really pulling anything in. So with Sean being home and with the way he spends money things have been tight for us lately. We were gonna go to the in-laws for New Years but we are barely gonna get by this half with just being able to pay his phone and gas for him to get to work. Good news is there a couple new buildings going up near us which means more jobs and hopefully I can snag one.

School is still a hassle, but it’s mainly my fault for not doing the amount of studying I need too and saving my work for the last minute. With the changes to the GI Bill it’s been really confusing when they are going to come in and when it’s gonna end so I can start the other one. I did find out I will have my degree by the Summer of 2013.

And the last thing is Tiger is missing. He was let out by Sean around Christmas day and hasn’t return. With the weather and his age along with the fact two years ago around this time we lost Mouse, he got out and just never came home, we are starting to worry about him. We walked the neighbor hood and put up posters, along with calling the animal shelters that are near us, and so far nothing. We have been putting food out for him and for the past two days the food has been eaten but no Tiger waiting to get in and no signs of any other animal. I’m guess that it was Tiger since Lil’Bit hasn’t went crazy at the front window, which he does even if another animal runs across the yard, or when the pups outside start to bark.

Hopefully with the new year starting things will get better, Tiger will come home, I will get a job, and my grades will improve.

What I'm Thankful For

Thanksgiving 2011

Everyone knows Thanksgiving is the time of the year to be thankful for the things you have and for the family that is around you. It is not just for chowing down until you pop the button off you pants. It is also the time to bring family and friends together to have a great time and enjoy each others company.

It has been a long year for me with Sean deploying, Stephanie coming to stay for a few months, my mother-in-law remarrying, Jonni finding out that I have another niece or nephew on the way, Sean coming home for R&R, and the new kitten. Also with Sean coming for good, well at least til they deploy him again, in just a few days, I have a lot to be thankful for this year.

I am thankful for my wonderful family and great in-laws. My family has always supported me in everything I do, and there are very few people that can say they actually like their in-laws.

I am thankful for my husband. We may argue and not always get along but when it comes down to it I would rather have him beside me then anyone else.

I am thankful for my pets. They keep from being lonely and warm at night when Sean isn't here.

I am thankful for the roof over my head and the floor under my feet. I am thankful for the car that is in my drive way.

I am thankful for really everything in my life.

Even though I didn't really do anything for Thanksgiving this year. I tried to join in with my family in Texas with Skype, but that didn't work out on. The issue was their end and not mine. And I don't have any plans to go to any crazy sales for Black Friday. Instead I will be prepping the house for Sean's return.
