Sean Has Quit WoW

Sean decided he is over World of Warcraft and uninstalled the game and suspended his account, giving everything to his guild bank. Neither of us really planed to continue our venture when Mist of Pandaria came out, and we both agree that Cata's raid have been really disappointing. But unlike him I don't plan on just saying I'm done, at least not yet. I want to at least give MoP's raids a shot. And in truth I think he's over reacting to one bad night of raiding, not on the guilds part but on his own. He's always been the one that has to be perfect and if he can't be the best he thinks he's loser and doesn't should be playing. But I have seen a change in him, instead of arguing with me to bring the dogs in, he just gets up and does it. He also doesn't seem to be in a bad mood all the time, which he was all the time between the pressure at work and then the pressures he put on himself to be the best in game. It is a little weird that my long time gaming buddy has decided to leave the game, but he's happy and that makes me happy. I don't mind him giving everything away or suspending his account, just as long as he doesn't try to sell it again. I want him to be able to play it when or if he thinks of coming back. But now instead of spending all day playing WoW, he has moved the PS3 to his room with our smallest Tv. So he is finally playing all those games we have been buying but not finishing.

The Secret World of Arrietty

Everyone has their favorite set of movies; mine and Sean are the Studio Ghibli movies. We can't really even pick which one is our favorite; it is a tie between Ponyo and My Neighbor Totoro. So when we say a advertising for a Studio Ghibli movie that was going to play in theaters we didn’t even have to ask the other and wrote the date it would be out down on our calendars.

The Secret World of Arrietty was the exact movie the commercials made it out to be. Even though the story of the borrowers has been around for generations, and was one of my mother’s favorite books growing up, this was a new and interesting twist to the old story. The ending wasn’t disappointing either. It didn’t end the way you would have thought it would, we both thought that they would stay and become friends with the family, but instead they left. It was a really heartfelt story to see, and it made us feel sorry for the young boy in the story and his heart condition and had us cheering for Arrietty on to rescue her mother.

If you have never seen any of the Studio Ghibli movies, I really suggest you go watch one. There are so many and every one has a unique story that everyone of any age will love and want to watch more.
